The Neurofibromatosis Type 1 Tumor Early Detection (NF1-TED) study will determine whether a blood test can detect malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNSTs) in participants with NF1 earlier than the current standard of care.

Eligibility Criteria
We are looking for 1,000 participants who:
Are 18 years or older
Have a diagnosis of Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1)
Have a history of plexiform neurofibroma (PN)
Participant Responsibilities
At the beginning of the study and every six months during the five-year follow-up period, participants will be asked to provide a blood sample and complete a brief online questionnaire.
If a participant develops an MPNST, the study team will request additional clinical data and a sample from the MPNST collected during regular clinical care from your doctor.
